The Parks Trust invites nature enthusiasts of all ages to participate in the Community Volunteering: Bug B&B Bonanza at Stony Stratford Nature Reserve on Saturday, 8 March 2025, from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM. This hands-on event focuses on constructing bug hotels and creating hibernacula, providing essential habitats for local wildlife.

Event Highlights:

• Habitat Construction: Participants will engage in building bug hotels and hibernacula, offering shelter to insects and amphibians during colder months and enhancing biodiversity in the area.

• Educational Experience: Guided by experienced staff and volunteers, attendees will learn practical conservation skills and discover methods to attract wildlife to their own gardens.

What to Bring:

• Gardening Gloves: Personal gloves are recommended for comfort and hygiene.

• Appropriate Attire: Wear suitable clothing and footwear for outdoor activities.

• Refreshments: Bring a drink and a snack to stay energized.

• Tools: If available, a portable electric drill will be useful for assembling structures.

• Family-Friendly: This event welcomes participants of all ages; however, children must be supervised by an adult at all times.
