The legendary Irish folk band, The Fureys, will take to the stage at The Stables in Milton Keynes on Wednesday, 9th April 2025, at 8:00 pm. Renowned for their heartfelt ballads and timeless storytelling, The Fureys have been captivating audiences for over four decades with their unique blend of Irish folk and traditional music.

With classics such as “When You Were Sweet 16,” “I Will Love You,” “The Green Fields of France,” “The Old Man,” and “Red Rose Café,” their music has left a lasting impression on generations of fans. Eddie Furey, one of the founding members, began his musical journey in the 1960s, travelling through Scotland during the folk revival movement. Over the years, The Fureys have performed alongside musical greats such as Billy Connolly, Gerry Rafferty, and Dave Stewart of The Eurythmics. Their appearance on Top of the Pops in 1981 was a defining moment, bringing their distinctive sound to an even wider audience.
