Feast of Fiddles (at The Stables Theatre)

The world-famous Feast of Fiddles makes its return to The Stables on Saturday, April 19th, 2025 as part of their thirtieth Spring Tour.

The show promises to be a dynamic celebration of decades of exceptional musicianship and will offer an unforgettable evening packed with traditional folk, rock, and wonderful fiddle playing.

A Celebration of Fiddle Music

What started out as a one-off gig in 1994 has grown into a nationally-recognised ensemble. The band is famed for its vibrant and engaging performances, that combine joy, technical skill, and a bit of humour, to create a concert experience unlike any other.

🎻 Garry Blakeley (Band of Two)
🎻 Ian Cutler (Bully Wee)
🎻 Marion Fleetwood (Trad Arr, Sandy Denny Project)
🎻 Tom Leary (Joe Brown)
🎻 Brian McNeill (Battlefield Band)
🎻 Simon Swarbrick (Merry Hell)

The exceptional lineup will be supported by a fantastic live band, featuring Dave Mattacks, a legendary drummer who has played for many of the biggest names in the business.

What to Expect

Audiences can expect an exciting set length set to include traditional folk tunes, original pieces, and the bands unique fiddle arrangements, with a rock twist. Having played many of the big UK festivals, including New Forest Folk Festival and Fairport’s Cropredy Convention, the group still draws very supportive crowds throughout the UK.
