The latest intelligence from the North Pole confirms that Father Christmas is returning to Bletchley Park this December — and this year he’s bringing a few extra friends to help uncover the mysteries of A Codebreakers’ Christmas.

Families are invited to experience a magical, vintage-style grotto set inside Bletchley Park’s historic Victorian Mansion, where festive fun meets wartime wonder. Children will meet Father Christmas himself and discover what Christmas was like for the codebreakers who worked behind the scenes during World War II.

Meet costumed characters from wartime Bletchley Park as they “keep calm and carry on” through the festive season — can you help them with their top-secret Christmas tasks?

🎭 A Christmas Carol

Join the Bletchley Park Recreational Society as they rehearse their wartime version of Dickens’ A Christmas Carol. They might need your help remembering lines or finding props before opening night!

✂️ Vintage Christmas Crafts

Create your own 1940s-inspired decorations using scrap paper and coded messages — perfect for taking home a piece of Bletchley magic.

☕ Festive Treats

Stop by Hut 4 Café or Block C Coffee Shop for mince pies, hot chocolate, and seasonal treats.

Important Notes:

• Every child (under 18) must be accompanied by an adult, and vice versa.

• Annual Passes are not valid for this event.

• Arrive at the grotto entrance at your booked time; late arrivals may not be admitted.

• Maximum: 3 family groups per timeslot (up to 4 adults + 4 children per group).
