Scottish singer-songwriter Alex Cornish brings his soulful sound and evocative storytelling to The Stables Theatre for one night only. Known for his haunting melodies and intricate musicianship, Alex blends acoustic warmth with subtle electronic textures — creating music that is both intimate and cinematic.

Touring his ninth studio album, Squall Critical, Alex delivers songs written and recorded in a single week at his kitchen table using just his violin, guitar, synths, and a single microphone. The result is a deeply personal and beautifully raw collection that showcases his unique artistry.

A classically trained violinist, pianist, and guitarist, Alex has toured and supported artists such as Amy MacDonald, Alison Moyet, Kathryn Williams, Morcheeba, and Tom McRae, and has appeared in session for BBC Radio 6 Music and BBC Scotland.
