Medea by The Carabosse Theatre Company
The Carabosse Theatre Company invites audiences to experience a powerful and immersive adaptation of Euripides’ Medea. Known for pushing the boundaries of traditional theatre, Carabosse returns with this unique take on the iconic Greek tragedy, transporting viewers to Ancient Corinth, where themes of betrayal, passion, and revenge unfold.
Following the success of their recent production of Dracula, Carabosse Theatre brings a performance that blurs the lines between audience and actors, drawing viewers into the heart of the story. The company’s bold retelling of Medea brings raw emotion and intensity to the stage, making it an unforgettable evening.
Medea tells the gripping tale of a woman scorned by her husband, Jason (famed for stealing the Golden Fleece), who abandons her for another. Medea’s anguish leads her down a chilling path of revenge that will leave audiences on the edge of their seats.
Featuring a stellar cast, including Danni Kushner as Medea, the production promises an evening of drama, intensity, and emotion. Dennis French will portray Jason on opening night, while Tim Dalgleish will take the role of Creon.
