About the Event

Join the community for the annual Milton Keynes Christmas Lights Switch-On 2025, a vibrant free outdoor event that marks the start of the festive season in the city centre. From the afternoon into the evening, you’ll enjoy music, comedy, funfair rides, and a dazzling fireworks display culminating in the illumination of central MK’s Christmas lights.

Performances include children from local schools and the Milton Keynes Rock Choir. The show is hosted by a well-known comedian and features a special appearance by Father Christmas himself. The fireworks finale lights up Midsummer Boulevard and the surrounding area.
