Prepare for a powerhouse night of rock as The Deccan Traps, led by Neil Fairclough of Queen + Adam Lambert, take to the stage at The Stables Theatre.

After 14 years performing alongside rock royalty, Neil brings together some of the UK’s most accomplished musicians to deliver a live show bursting with progressive rock power, anthemic hooks, and virtuoso musicianship.

The band’s debut album, released in late 2024, received high praise from fans and critics alike — including Sir Brian May, who contributed both his guitar work and voice to the epic centrepiece track Dream of a Thousand Nights.

Fronting the band is Ricardo Afonso, a world-class vocalist best known for his leading roles as Galileo in We Will Rock You and Judas in Jesus Christ Superstar. His powerhouse voice brings The Deccan Traps’ ambitious soundscapes to life, blending arena-worthy anthems with intimate, acoustic moments.
