Join The Parks Trust for a fun-filled afternoon at Woughton on the Green Community Orchard and explore the fascinating world of orchards and their importance to local communities and wildlife.

In partnership with the Old Woughton Parish Council and the Mid-Shires Orchard Group, you’ll have the opportunity to:

  • Learn about orchard heritage and how it benefits the environment 🌳
  • Discover a variety of apple types through immersive tours 🍏
  • Enjoy food and live music while supporting local charities and businesses 🎶
  • Visit “From Garden to Jar” for homemade jams and chutneys 🍯

Children and adults alike can take part in a range of activities, including:

  • Bird ringing (weather permitting)
  • Firing apples from a catapult
  • Face painting and storytelling
  • Crafting willow art with a weaving expert
  • Apple pressing with Woughton Community Council

This event is perfect for all ages, but children must be supervised by an adult. Toilets and refreshments will be available on-site, with resting spots around the orchard.
