About the Event

The magic of Christmas returns to Wolverton this November as the town comes together for the annual Wolverton Christmas Lights Switch-On 2025. Taking place in The Square, this much-loved community event marks the official start of the festive season with lights, laughter, and live entertainment for all ages.

Families can look forward to school and choir performances around the Christmas tree, including a special appearance by Sing Space Choir and members of local schools and churches. The evening’s festivities will also feature a visit from Father Christmas, who will join the celebrations to spread cheer before the main light switch-on at 6 pm.

Inside Foundation House, the café will be open serving seasonal treats, while magician Uncle Bob performs enchanting shows at 5:30 pm and 6:15 pm to delight younger visitors.

Visitors can browse festive stalls and local crafts at The Shop on the Square, with even more Christmas goodies available from pop-up market stalls. To top it off, enjoy mouth-watering street food from Better Than Mama’s (African & Caribbean cuisine) and Plant Bass’d (home-cooked, plant-based dishes).
