The Parks Trust invites women to join the Women’s Walking Network for a refreshing walk through Caldecotte Brook on Thursday, 6 March 2025, at 10:00 AM. This monthly walking group offers an excellent opportunity to explore one of Milton Keynes’ hidden gems while promoting fitness and fostering new friendships.

Event Highlights:

• Scenic Route: Participants will embark on a brisk-paced walk starting at Caldecotte Brook, venturing through the lesser-known areas of Browns Wood and its picturesque surroundings.

• Guided Experience: Led by a friendly volunteer walk leader, attendees will enjoy an engaging and informative journey, discovering the natural beauty and tranquility of the area.

Important Information:

• Pace and Duration: The walk is conducted at a brisk pace, covering approximately 4-5 miles in under two hours. Those preferring a gentler pace are encouraged to explore alternative options such as Health Walks or Inclusive Strolls offered by The Parks Trust.

• Preparation: Participants should dress appropriately for the weather and wear comfortable footwear suitable for mixed terrains, including hard-packed paths, softer trails, and occasional steps and slopes.

• Amenities: Please note that there are no public toilets or refreshment facilities at this location; bringing your own drink is advisable.

• Pet Policy: Dogs are not permitted on these walks, except for assistance dogs.
