The Comedy Cow has become Milton Keynes’ go-to destination for laughs! What began as a tiny club for friends and family has exploded into the city’s largest comedy club packing in the fun across multiple venues.

In a fresh moove, the Comedy Cow introduced us to The Cow Shed at The Swan Revived Hotel in Newport Pagnell.

Last night they served up six moovellous acts, a half-dozen scoops of dairy-fresh laughter!

MC & COMEDIAN - Mark Row

Review The Comedy Cow Mark Row - Sep 25

Mark began his comedy journey in 2016 with the documentary A1: The Long Road to Edinburgh, chronicling his first year from zero gigs to a full Edinburgh Festival run. Known for his world-weary, relatable and sometimes outrageous humour, Mark has built a strong reputation, supporting Terry Alderton and BGT winner Axel Blake on their 2024 UK tours.

Effortlessly engaging and expertly holding the show together, Mark is way more than your ‘local comedian – as seen in Tesco’s.’ From a speech therapy tip that literally took the words out of his mouth, to a nostalgic pedal down memory lane on mountain bikes and a gleeful obsession with strongman TV antics, he was admirably audience-friendly and endearingly unpredictable.

Jimmy James Jones

Review The Comedy Cow Jimmy James Jones - Sep 25

Jimmy James Jones is a comedian, actor and radio presenter known for ITV2’s Pranksterz and running the legendary New Act Night at the Comedy Café. A former musical theatre performer, Jimmy brings a magnetic stage presence and sharp, edgy comedy and has shared the stage with UK comedy heavyweights.

JJJ made a welcome return to the comedy stage with brand-new material exploring heartbreak, life and the wonderful stories of his mum, including the infamous Mum Stare and cleansing of the evil spirits. His anecdotes are deeply personal and emotional, yet he effortlessly turns them into laugh-out-loud humour. He is definitely finding his feet again and it’s a joy to watch him navigate his way through life’s ups and downs on stage.

Tim Saint

Review The Comedy Cow Tim Saint - Sep 25

Tim Saint is an “old new comic” whose gentle, charming delivery reveals a keen, playful wit. As one half of Gifted Melon Comedy Club, he’s built a reputation for relatable, warmly engaging stories that cover the highs, lows and downright baffling moments of modern life. A single dad navigating holidays in sticky-tabled holiday camps and the minefield of sex education – both for children and adults – Tim finds comedy in the chaos of family life. With consistently clever audience rapport and a reliably funny set, Tim’s comedy was both heartfelt and hilarious, full of stories that are as touching as they are warmly entertaining.

Andy Gleeks

Review The Comedy Cow Andy Gleeks - Sep 25

Andy Gleeks is a natural stand-up with a warm, engaging style. Drawing on life in Ireland, his candid, conversational comedy blends observational and topical material. Winner of the (Some Guy Called) Dave Joke of the Fringe 2025, he’s an act audiences instantly connect with.

His set included the ingenious cutlass robbery skit, complete with a groan-worthy punchline that we loved. Always experimenting, Andy tried out new, edgy material that made you gasp at times, it’s brilliant, outrageous and mockingly playful. A standout moment was when he asked an audience member if they were excited and deadpanned, “Tell your face.” Savage – but the kind of cruel that leaves you laughing. Outstanding!

Aaron Williams

Review The Comedy Cow Aaron Williams - Sep 25

Aaron Williams combines sharp stand-up wit with playful, family-friendly fun, and his set was a high-energy delight. From the moment he stepped on stage, he had the crowd hooked, immediately connecting over “the easiest job in the world” that went hilariously wrong in a bed showroom, spinning tales of friendship, finding your place, and even the outstanding absurdity of funeral home attire.

Whether “saving the NHS” by giving it a kiss better (that went wrong too 😉) or musing over a fairground-style announcer in other jobs  -chapel attendant with a mic – Aaron’s humour hit every funny bone perfectly.

Kevin Daniel

Review The Comedy Cow Kevin Daniel - Sep 25

Kevin Daniel is a rising UK comedian who fizzes with energy, blending sharp storytelling with physical and expressive comedy. He has performed at major clubs nationwide and supported Fiona Allen and Jack Gleadow.

In 2024, he won Leicester Comedy Festival’s Silver Stand Up award. His sets mix clever ideas with laugh-out-loud observations, from tackling water shortages with comically oversized water bottles to his Drink Wee Flush theory, which led perfectly to some literal toilet humour, a reflection on aging alongside uproarious generational life lessons like The How Are You Rules.

Kevin didn’t just tell jokes, he climbed right into them, leaving the audience laughing and energised.

HEADLINER - Matt Richardson

Review The Comedy Cow Matt Richardson - Sep 25

Our headliner Matt Richardson burst onto the comedy scene as a teenager, reaching the finals of So You Think You’re Funny and the Chortle Student Comedy Award, and winning the Newbury and Bath new act competitions. Known for his cheeky swagger and quick-witted style, he delivers fast, personal stories with irresistible flair. Beyond stand-up, he’s co-hosted The Xtra Factor with Caroline Flack and Celebrity Haunted Hotel Live! with Christine Lampard.

Part-time life-story comedian (full-time master of chaotic anecdotes), Matt has been an answer on Pointless – the pointless one, enjoyed (or perhaps endured) Celebrity Coach Trip and even received a diagnosis from ‘Dr’ Honey G. His “Sky TV, ADHD, Honey G” quip had us in stitches and his tales of neighbourhood Facebook group drama hit so close to home we were crying laughing. He took us through the mirthful mundanity of village life, middle-class thugs whose balaclavas are actually designer ski wear, a Catstagram nightmare, and the fine art of catching a girlfriend… with gravy.

Highlights included a Groupon massage tale and some saucy bedroom antic demonstrations though for the full, eye watering details, you’ll have to see him for yourself.

Matt was an absolute hit with every single person in the room, fully deserving of the headliner spot, a true master of his craft and the cream of the crop for sure.
